Virtual Training Appliances are hands-on Labs designed to complement some of our technical CBT titles and are delivered in either Oracle Virtual Box or VMWare format.

Training Appliance products are available for Database Management, Information Technology, Systems Analysis, Financial Management, HR Management, Data Science, ERP, Project Management, Industry Applications and more.

Note that VM Training Appliances are not a replacement for studying using CBT, eLearning or Training Guide eBooks but rather, is made available to complement learning using Computer based training - CBT, eLearning or Training Guide eBooks. 

By bundling the VM software of the relevant course as part of the training product / course, students get to perform hands-on practice using the actual software, over and above the software simulations delivered in CBT/eLearning training courses.

Requirements for the Virtual Machine Environment:
This Training Appliance hands-on lab runs in a VM VirtualBox environment. VirtualBox 6.1 is the minimum recommended Version.
In order to run the lab effectively you will need the following:

Minimum Hardware:
CPU: Dual-core CPU
Memory: 4+ GB RAM

Disk space:
20 GB for download of zip files
50 GB for expanded VM image

NOTE: If your hardware is near the minimums, you will need to adjust the virtual machine settings inside VirtualBox.

Required Software:
Any 64-bit OS on which Oracle VirtualBox is available

Oracle VM VirtualBox 6.1 or later. Download the latest version from http://www.virtualbox.org

Also include the VirtualBox Extensions package. This is a separate download from the same location.
