This course provides an overview of the Compensation and Benefits Management capabilities of Oracle HCM/HRMS. Topics covered in this course includes total compensation framework, understand benefit plans and elements, how to set up and administer salary, Identify salary components, salary basis, and salary elements, understand how to administer salary changes, how to enter and maintain compensation survey data, learn how to set up grade rates, pay scales, and scale rates and understand the grade/step progression business process.

  • Identify salary components, salary basis, and salary elements
  • Learn how to administer salary changes

  • Handle benefits enrollments
  • Explain the framework for Compensation and Benefits setup and administration in Oracle HCM/HRMS
  • Discuss the use of elements to represent different types of earnings and deductions in Oracle HCM
  • Discuss how the same elements are used by HCM, Payroll and Benefits and discuss any differences
  • Explain the difference between recurring and nonrecurring types of elements
  • Recognise the predefined elements in Oracle HCM
  • Identify the predefined elements installed with Oracle HRMS products
  • Explain the use of Elements to represent values for different types of earnings and deductions
  • Explain the differences between recurring and nonrecurring types of elements
  • Implement and administer Compensation Workbench
  • Set up and administer Individual Compensation Distributions (ICD)
  • Maintain a vehicle repository and allocate company vehicles to employees
  • Use absence types, categories, and reasons to track and report employee absences
